ILTIZAM Catalyst is a programme under the ILTIZAM Entrepreneurship Programme that provides hands-on and direct assistance via qualified technical consultants to bridge the gaps in businesses and strengthen their capacity for sustainable growth.

ILTIZAM Catalyst is open to all Bumiputera businesses with revenue between RM300,000 - RM1 million with a minimum of two (2) years track record registered in Malaysia and has met the eligibility criteria . ILTIZAM Catalyst will exclude businesses related to:

Start-ups
Liquor
Illegal/unethical activities

Some common business issues that ILTIZAM Catalyst can help with include:

FINANCIAL AND COMPLIANCE

Limitation in preparing and understanding financial statements
No presence of short- and long-term business plan
Challenge to analyse financial statements and monitor key financial metrics

BRANDING AND DIGITAL MARKETING

Unclear and inconsistent brand guidelines
Ineffective marketing strategy
Limited knowledge of customer preferences

TECHNOLOGY ADOPTION

Lack of familiarity with the effective accounting system
No website or e-commerce platform available

LEADERSHIP

Lack of a personal vision and direction toward business
Lack of growth mindset
Afraid to embrace innovation
Difficulty in delegating tasks

Establish and review marketing strategy & plan (segmentation, positioning, targeting)

Prepare digital marketing design template
Prepare content calendar template
Develop or review digital marketing strategy
Execution of media buy

Pillar 3: Technology Adoption

Accounting software (if required)
Website and e-commerce platform (if required)

Pillar 4: Leadership

Growth Mindset & Strategic Thinking: Strategy and business transformation support using design thinking and agile methodology
Peer Advisory: Networking platform for peer advisory
Effective Leadership: Engagements with industry leaders and successful business owners

The eligibility criteria for ILTIZAM Catalyst are as follows:

The business is registered with the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM)
The business has at least 51% Bumiputera shareholding
Financially sustainable with annual revenue between RM300,000 to RM1 million with a minimum of two (2) financial years
Business is profitable in the last two (2) financial years
Showcase credentials and needs for the programme
Fully committed to participating in the ILTIZAM Catalyst programme

You will need to prepare the following documents to apply for ILTIZAM Catalyst

Company's Certificate of Registration with the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM)
SSM Current Business Owner Information
Details of shareholders
Financial accounts or financial statements (cash flow, profit & loss) for the last 2 years
Employer EPF contribution statement or payslip record

You need to select 2 representatives from your company to commit to this programme (the representative must be the owner/founder & key management personnel).

If your document is incomplete, we will notify you and request the submission of any missing documents within 7 working days.

You will receive a verification of your complete application at the end of the registration

The application deadline is 31 August 2024. If you are eligible, you will be shortlisted for the ILTIZAM Catalyst next stage.
