ILTIZAM Catalyst Has Helped Businesses Realise Their Full Potential

Butik Roti Maria

As the second-generation owner of Butik Roti Maria in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan, she inherited more than just a bakery. She inherited a legacy. Over time, the business grew into a riverside destination that combines food, agrotourism, education, and community experiences. But despite its unique offerings, many people still didn’t know it existed, and internally, the business needed stronger foundations to grow.

Joining ILTIZAM Catalyst helped shift everything. With support from expert coaches, she improved financial planning, launched a website, refined branding, and built a more collaborative team. “We joined the programme to gain real knowledge — leadership, marketing, branding, and finance,” she shared. “With the right tools, we’ve become a stronger team and a better business.”

Second Cut BBQ

As a brand built on patience and precision, Roastic, formerly known as Second Cut BBQ, is redefining slowroasted dining in Batu Caves, Selangor. Known for its indulgent lamb, beef, and chicken dishes paired with bold sides, the restaurant celebrates honest flavours made without shortcuts. But behind the scenes, they were in the midst of revitalising their brand while managing the operational demands of a growing customer base. To move forward, they needed more structure, clarity, and strategic focus.

ILTIZAM Catalyst helped Roastic strengthen its business from the inside out. With guidance from industry experts, they optimised manpower, redesigned their menu for better cost control, and adopted sharper financial planning practices. The programme also supported their digital growth by refining their brand tone; positioning them as a humble neighbourhood favourite. Internally, new tools like the 2x2 Prioritisation Matrix improved team coordination, while clearer communication systems reduced wastage and strengthened accountability. Together, these changes helped Roastic lead with purpose and serve every meal with even greater consistency and care.

Astana Optometri

Astana Optometri began in 2016 as a vision-care centre in Paka, Terengganu, offering holistic eye health services using the latest digital screening and therapy tools. However, the business was running without a solid grasp of its financial position. Disorganised management, limited tracking, and unclear profit margins made it hard to tell what was truly working and what wasn’t.

Through ILTIZAM Catalyst, they gained the structure and tools to make clearer decisions. What once felt like guesswork is now a business driven by clear insight. From improved financial planning to stronger operational processes, the programme helped lay the groundwork for sustainable growth. Today, Astana Optometri is equipped with the clarity and confidence to scale further.

Brutti

Brutti is a bespoke furniture studio based in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, known for its bold, industrial-style pieces crafted from solid pine, plywood, and merbau. What began as a passion project evolved into a fullscale operation but unclear costing and inconsistent pricing meant they were unknowingly losing money. Without structured systems, scaling the business felt risky.

Joining ILTIZAM Catalyst gave Brutti the clarity and tools they needed. They refined their pricing, improved cash flow, and strengthened financial discipline. A strategic rebrand and focused digital content, especially on TikTok, boosted engagement and visibility. Internally, clearer workflows and team accountability helped them scale more efficiently. With stronger systems and sharper direction, Brutti is now building for growth; creatively and sustainably.

Klinik Allevia

Formerly known as Klinik Rakan Medik, Klinik Allevia is a 24-hour clinic owned by Habib Bakri Healthcare. They offer comprehensive general practice and minor surgery services, specialising in emergency care, wound care, pregnant lady, paediatrics and Occupational Health. Recognising the need for growth and development, Klinik Allevia embarked on a journey by participating in the ILTIZAM Catalyst programme in 2022.

"The ILTIZAM Catalyst programme has provided us with invaluable insights into effective management as entrepreneurs. As doctors, we were so focused on operations and day-to-day services that we overlooked the importance of proper business management. Through this programme, we gained awareness of the need to manage our clinic efficiently in order to thrive," expressed Dr. Habib Bakri, the clinic's owner.

Coming from a background in medical services, the management team at Klinik Allevia also recognised their lack of creative skills. The programme's assistance in branding and digital automation proved to be extremely beneficial. Leveraging the learnings, they successfully automated various clinic processes and rebranded their clinic from Klinik Rakan Medik to Klinik Allevia.

With renewed determination, Klinik Allevia is confident that they will continue to thrive and grow as they embrace ongoing improvements.

POYA

POYA is a homegrown fashion label specialising in timeless baju kurung and Malay traditional wear that blends elegance with modern sensibility. As they scaled the business, the founders realised they needed deeper strategic support to sustain their growth and expand their brand presence.

ILTIZAM Catalyst provided the kind of structured guidance they hadn’t seen elsewhere. “To our knowledge, there’s no other programme that offers such a comprehensive support system,” they shared. From branding and digital marketing to finance and strategy, the programme helped them identify gaps, sharpen their focus, and strengthen POYA’s business foundation. With expert coaching and a clearer direction, they’re now better equipped to grow sustainably.
